War trauma in Afghanistan

We are very happy to announce that Professor Dr. Doll is visiting us in Prague. As a former military surgeon, now working as a general surgeon at St. Marienhospital in Vechta, Professor from the University of Homburg is one of the leading clinicians and researchers in his field. In the past, Professor Doll was part of multiple military operations in Afghanistan and served as a military surgeon. Excerpts from this time provide thrilling insights into the challenges of providing medical care under battlefield conditions and the care for the critically wounded. The presentation will be held in English and is suitable for all students and clinicians interested in trauma medicine and emergency care.
